Power Red is similar to a whole blood donation, except a special machine is used to allow you to safely donate two units of red blood cells during one donation while returning your plasma and platelets to you. Only the following blood types can donate this way: O negative, O positive, A negative, and B negative. Here is a link with more information if you are interested in this type: https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/how-to-donate/types-of-blood-donations/power-red-donation.html.
