Moose on Cedar Brae Rd

A large adult moose, probably a cow, was sighted Saturday morning at milepost 2 on Cedar Brae Road, along the South Shore of Lake Wenatchee.  She came down onto the road from above, ran East along the road for a short distance and then left the road going down toward the lake. This may be the same cow that has been seen roaming Nason Ridge.

Smoke from various fires continues to cover the area and is expected to remain several more days with some rain possible beginning Monday evening. The smoke did give us a beautiful sunset last night…………………
