Here’s a great local opportunity: Local resident Keith Fast is a 24 year veteran of the information technology business, specializing in securing data systems for small and mid-sized businesses. In November he conducted an evening of instruction for some local folks in basic protection of information and systems from the cyber criminals that seek to separate peoples private information, financial data and assets from them. The information was well received and Keith has agreed to do another session on the evening of February 18th. He’ll discuss steps you can take to secure your online identity, accounts, email and computer systems and point you toward building your own online security strategy. Questions about your specific concerns or problems will be welcome.
This presentation is presented by Keith at no charge and he’s not selling anything- he’s just one of us that has a lot of information very useful to many of us that he’s willing to share. Jimi and I attended his presentation in November and we’ve changed a lot of things in our own online and data storage practices.
The presentation on February 18th will be at the Ponderosa Community Club at 6:00 PM. Due to limited seating and anticipated high interest in this event please rsvp to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 12th.
