The Leavenworth Winter Sports Club is hosting the 2nd annual Moose Dewlap Citizens Trek on February 27th, 2015. This is a new all-day Nordic ski trek through the beautiful Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake and Meadow Creek areas outside of Leavenworth, WA.
The Moose Dewlap Citizens Trek replaces the Hog Loppet that the LWSC hosted for more than a decade. The Meadow Creek area new Lake Wenatchee is in a snowy part of the Cascades that’s sheltered from high winds and avalanche dangers, making it an ideal location for Nordic ski trek.
