A TV commercial for a major car manufacturer will be filmed at Glacier View Campground on August 3rd. The production will use a fog machine, creating a hazy effect that might resemble smoke. The Chelan County Sheriffs, Rivercom, and LWFR have been informed of this activity. Additionally, there will be brief, intermittent closures of Cedar Brae Road between Camp Zanika and Glacier View Campground later in the afternoon, lasting about five minutes each for filming purposes. The campground and the boat launch will still be available for use throughout the entire day for use by the public. The production company has procured offsite parking outside Lake Wenatchee for larger big rig trucks to cross load equipment into smaller vehicles suitable for getting in and out of the campground.
