The current snow conditions in the Lake Wenatchee area are not optimum-  warm temps, recent rain and heavy, wet snow coming down have created some hazardous conditions. Avoid wandering around beneath roofs and trees that will shed snow.  Several people died in our area in years past from being knocked to the ground, buried and suffocated by heavy snow shedding off roofs and trees.  Pace yourselves too when shoveling this stuff– it’s very hard work. This wet snow is also very slick so be cautious too on the roads.
