The mural theme “Community around us” features local landscapes, flora, and fauna, and houses and kids, too! The 100-foot-long mural on the exterior walls of the covered play area is one of the first things you see as you drive by. Students brought their design to life with the assistance of Tamara Hergert, a member of the Beaver Valley Parent Group and a professional Mural Artist. They first created a digital version on Tamara’s tablet before painting the design on the walls. Beaver Valley Elementary staff, Eric Tiegel, Sharlynn Parker, Lori Sanders, along with parent-volunteers and the Cascade School District maintenance team contributed to this amazing project.
