The annual spring clean-up day at Camp Zanika Lache on Lake Wenatchee this year is Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are in need of volunteers that can help open camp for the summer: clean cabins, maintenance on the archery range, the waterfront, clean the Kiwanis lodge, set up the wall tents, clean the kitchen, help prepare lunch, burn debris, and have fun at the same time! Bring your gloves, rakes, chainsaws, loppers, and anything you think will come in handy. Lunch will be provided.
Lodging is available for anyone who would like to come up and stay over either Friday or Saturday night- to do this you must RSVP and can do that by going to Camp Clean Up – Campfire – North Central Washington – (campfirencw.org) Volunteering helps us keep our rates down.
