Beginning June 16th crews will be working on a salmon habitat project on the White River between the Sears Creek and Little Wenatchee River Road bridges. We expect construction to last 4-5 weeks. Boats will be installing pilings throughout a 1.5 mile stretch of the White River to collect and retain woody material. Access to the river will remain unrestricted during construction; however, boaters should expect to encounter this activity and will need to take extra precautions to avoid work boats and pilings. For more information on the project please visit Cascade Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Groups website http://www.ccfeg.org/current-projects/habitat-projects/whiteriver/ or call or email Jason Lundgren firstname.lastname@example.org.
