Cascade Medical Hospital Board Commissioner Mall Boyd has announced her upcoming retirement – this means CM is looking for interested community members willing to be appointed commissioner in her absence. CM will be accepting submissions through the month of May. Once appointed, you will serve until you have an opportunity to run for re-election during the next election cycle.
This is a significant opportunity to serve our community. The Board meets monthly, with each Board member serving on a specific committee, in addition to lending an ear to our community to connect with those we serve.
Here are the required qualifications for the position:
- Resident and registered voter in the Cascade Medical Hospital District, which is roughly the same area as the Cascade School District
- A commitment to health care for all residents of our district
- A commitment to Cascade Medical’s shared values: Commitment, Community, Empowerment, Integrity, Quality, Respect, and Transparency
- An ability to work collaboratively with other board members, CM administration, CM employees, and members of our community
- Leadership ability – an ability to work with, and inspire, others
