The Chelan County Department of Emergency Management currently uses the AlertSense notification system to alert citizens to emergency situations in their neighborhoods. These situations include but are not limited to wildfire, evacuation notices, extreme weather, flooding, power outages and road closures. On March 1st the AlertSense system will be replaced by a system called Everbridge which provides several new benefits to users. All users of Alert Sense services on that date will be seamlessly and automatically included in the new emergency notification system.
