Commissioner Terry Glover of Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue is retiring from his position at the end of the year. He was recognized at the December 8th meeting of the fire district Commissioners with the presentation of plaque commemorating his years of service. Terry joined Fire District 4 at Ponderosa in June of 1992, took on the additional position of Commissioner in 1994 and served in both roles until 2014 when he stepped down from being a firefighter. With the merger of District 4 and District 9 as Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue in March 2015 Terry continued his service as a Commissioner in the newly-formed fire department. Terry’s wife Marlene served alongside him as the long-serving District Secretary of District 4 and she continues in an administrative position with LWFR. Terry’s many years of commitment and unselfish service to his community have been a role model and inspiration to those that came behind him. Thank you, Terry!
