Superior Court Judge Travis Brandt has invalidated the results of the August election.  Judge Brandt found that the Fire District Commissioners had failed to follow the Open Meetings Act and had not followed requirements to insure both opinions For and Against were submitted for the voters guide.  At this point in time it is not known if the Fire District will appeal the ruling,  or will refile the bond for a future election.
