Delays on Chumstick Highway July 19th to 29th

Beginning next Tuesday, July 19, 2016, a contractor for Public Works will begin work removing hazard trees along Chumstick Highway and Beaver Valley Road between milepost 12.37 and milepost 12.50.  The contract is for work is 9 business days, though the work may be completed sooner dependent on conditions encountered as work begins.  During most of the project, travelers through the area will encounter flagger-controlled traffic with minor delays at the work zone.  When the trees have been removed, there will be some intermittent closures of Beaver Valley Road as these large logs are removed from the area.  These closures will be confirmed as they are developed. Check at Chelan County Public Works on Facebook for these same project updates. Facebook
