If you’re planning on traveling over Stevens pass this next week, be prepared for some delays. From 6 a.m. Monday, June 21 until about mid-day Thursday, June 24, the DOT will be removing potentially hazardous trees in the summit area (milepost 58-79) from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday. This will require traffic delays in each direction for about 30 minutes at a time while trees come down and are cleared.
