The Lake Wenatchee community has lost a good friend. Dr. Edgar Meyer, a longtime physician in Cashmere and part-time resident on the North shore of Lake Wenatchee, passed away on April 12 at age 98. Dr Meyer was a familiar sight in our area as he walked the roads here in his never-ending campaign to eradicate noxious weeds. He was a nice man, a good man, a good neighbor and will be missed.
