In response to community requests and needs, Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue will be offering Covid 19 rapid antigen testing to the public just before Christmas holiday travel. Testing will be available Tuesday December 21st 4-7 PM at the Lake Wenatchee fire station at 21696 Lake Wenatchee Highway. No appointment is needed and results take 15 minutes. Testing is free. Antigen testing is the most effective to confirm illness in people with active symptoms. Early onset or those without symptoms may routinely test negative until an infection progresses.
