The organization Team Rubicon has to now been involved in disaster relief but are branching into wildfire mitigation assistance for folks who cannot do it themselves or afford to have it done commercially. Working in concert with Cascadia Conservation District, they are scheduled to work on a few properties in our area next week to reduce defensible space vegetation, fell hazard trees, clean up debris/trash/littler and/or help with home hardening (screening, laying crushed gravel, etc.)
