Long story short. Yesterday morning it was reported that a bald eagle got tangled up in the driving range net at Kahler Mountain Club. Community association GM Dave Millard & George Sanchez got a scissor lift & un-tangled the eagle, wrapping it in a towel for his own safety. Upon releasing it, it was noticed that the eagle had a hurt leg & couldn’t fly well. He did make it across the pond & landed on a lower tree branch & hung upside down, he was injured. Dave Millard rescued it again, this time to bring to Leavenworth’s fish & wildlife. What an incredible job & day at Kahler Mountain Club- say a good word for healing of the eagle.
