UPDATE: 9:00 AM 8-20-26 There is a heavy smoke presence this AM, particularly at the East end of the lake. Some breeze did come up y’day afternoon that cleared smoke out for a while making it possible for air tanker operations off the lake to operate. A lot of flame visible up there NE of the lake overnight.
There is a very heavy smoke presence at the lake this Wednesday morning. The current forecast shows some breeze possible today which would clear the smoke some. The forecast also shows a possibility of showers/rain Friday night- lets hope that happens. Heavy fire activity continues to the North/Northeast of the lake. For details go to
