The weather has not been kind to the skating rink so far this winter, but with a stretch of cold dry weather in the forecast, we are looking forward to some skating. The rink has been recently flooded multiple times, so the ice is in good shape with a base of 14″. There is currently about 2″ of new snow on the ice that should be cleared before further flooding / grooming. Volunteers are needed to man the snow blowers, and to assist in continued flooding / grooming in the next couple of days. Please contact Gary Schuster if you are available to help.

Current rink conditions are updated on the Lake Wenatchee Info site under the Reports menu > Kahler Glen Ice Rink.

Thank You to Gary and the volunteers for laboring to provide this fun community resource.
