There continue to be intermittent closures of US 2 while suppression efforts continue on the Bolt Creek fire and crews are assessing and removing burned trees that present danger to travelers. The road was closed again for a while on Sunday Oct 9 for removal of the tree pictured that fell onto the roadway.
