I believe that voters deserve to know who they are voting for, and that those running for office have a responsibility to share why they are running, and what they have to offer as a public servant. With that in mind, I want to apologize to the voters of this area. for inadvertently missing the deadline for the Voter’s Pamphlet last May. The error was mine and I regret it.

I’d like to take this opportunity to share why I’m running for Cascade Medical Commissioner. As a resident of Leavenworth for nearly 15 years, I love this community and am deeply invested in its future, including Cascade Medical. My career has focused on helping people get access to the care they need, that impacts their overall quality of life.

In my role as a Cascade Hospital Commissioner, I:

  • Support and advocate for patients and staff
  • Champion access to care – care focused on patients’ needs an life circumstances
  • Help ensure financial stability for Cascade, while balancing its focus on community health and services

Rural hospitals like Cascade are facing unprecedented challenges, from funding cuts to cuts to key services. My hope is to continue to bring my expertise in health policy, advocacy and funding to make sure our local healthcare services remain strong – and are here for you and your family when and where you need them.

It’s been an honor to serve as a hospital commissioner, and I humbly ask for your support in the upcoming election so I may continue this important work on your behalf. In addition, thank you to all of the amazing people providing health care in our region.
