The Lake Wenatchee Water District serves roughly the entire area along North Shore Drive and Lake Wenatchee Highway from the YMCA camp to the West end of North Shore Drive. The District has a Board of Directors comprised of three members. One of those positions is vacant and another is soon to become vacant. The need is urgent for at least two owners in the District to step up and become candidates for the Board. The Board meets once a month and pays a stipend of $130/month. The only requirements are that the candidate owns property within the boundaries of the water district is a registered voter in Chelan County. The positions must be filled jn the next five weeks.
