This is looking like the last weekend for the 2021-2022 XC season according to the folks at the State Park and from talking with Rob Whitten at Ski Plain. The snow is getting thin in many spots and the forecast for more rain this weekend will likely end the grooming on our local trails. It has been a challenging year for the grooming crews, too much snow then hard pack then another storm two weeks ago that was of the ‘too much snow’ variety, followed by rain.
