Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue proposition No 1 on the ballot August 5th has passed. There was a total of 847 votes cast with 512 supporting the measure and 345 opposing it, meeting the 60% approval required to pass. With this funding now in place planning can proceed on design and construction of the new fire station complex in Plain and other district projects.
