Chelan County Natural Resources Department in conjunction with the Nason Ridge Stewardship Group will be hosting a Nason Creek Watershed Community Meeting on Wednesday, May 28. The public is invited to this meeting which will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club. An Open House will start the evening from 6:00-6:45, where the community can speak one-on-one with organizations conducting stream restoration and other natural resource projects in the area. Presentations will follow from 6:45-7:45 PM highlighting recent and upcoming habitat restoration efforts along with an update on Nason Ridge Community Forest activities. The evening will end with questions and a wrap-up. Groups participating in the open house and presentations include Cascadia Conservation District, Yakama Nation Fisheries, Chelan Douglas Land Trust, Chelan County Natural Resources Department, and more.
