With the anticipated traditional displays of fireworks on New Years Eve, here are a few tips to keep you compliant with the Chelan County ordinances. Common fireworks, dipped sticks, sparklers, cylindrical fountains, cone fountains, illuminating torches, wheels, ground spinners, flitter sparklers and smoke devices, may be discharged between 6PM on December 31 and 1:00 AM ON January 1st. Devices such as firecrackers, salutes, chasers, skyrockets, missile-type rockets, helicopters, aerials, spinners, Roman
candles, mines and shells are prohibited. If it leaves the ground, it is considered an aerial device and is not permitted. For full details of the ordinance read it at Fireworks.
