The Wenatchee River bridge on the Beaver Valley Highway at Plain will close to all traffic on June 1st for re-surfacing. The project is scheduled for the entire month of June but it is hoped/anticipated that it will be completed in less time than that. A 14-mile detour will be marked along the Chiwawa Loop Road.
If Plain is your destination you might consider going South on River Road to the hairpin turn where there is parking for a few cars at the West end of the footbridge across the river. After walking the bridge you can walk to Plain via Chapel Drive and the Beaver Valley Highway OR Chapel Drive to Apple Acres Road to State haul Road to Plain.
