One of the gifts of going directly from summer/smoke into winter with about a week in between is there has been enough snow to open the Plain Ski trails on record early date. There are a few pieces of hay sticking up here and there, many leaves on the trail near Mountain Springs, but all in all it is a lot of fun to get back out and start skiing.
The Beaver Creek Trail head will open on Sunday the 13th. THE PARKING AREA HAS BEEN RELOCATED ONE DRIVEWAY NORTH from where it has been the last couple of years. Not all the connector trails between Stonewater and the Hardware Store end of the trail system are open. Early reports are that the Swamp Creek Loop is in good shape.
Thanks to Rob, Pierre for putting in the early season extra work to get the trails open Trail passes are available at Plain Hardware or via a QR Code and your phone at the trail heads.
