Power went out at the lake this morning a little after 3am. As of 5:00pm it has not been restored. PUD reports on Twitter that they have found the problem in the main line between Coles Corner and Sunitch Canyon, no estimate at this point on when power will be restored.
North Shore has not been plowed since Thursday. Currently plan according to one of the plow drivers is to clear the roads with a larger rotary blower, the snow banks are high on both sides of North Shore and Cedar Brae. We met 2 neighbors coming in to check on houses on North Shore. They had parked at the Y camp and snowshoed in.
Normally we would be reporting on the lake freezing last night, the wind broke up some of the ice along the shore lines, but the center of the lake is still frozen.
