The Rainy Creek fire continues to grow and has filled the lake basin with smoke this morning.  The fire was started by lightning on Aug 3.  It has become much more active over the last couple of days.  The photo was taken at 5pm on Wed by John Morse.  A neighbor was up the little wenatchee and observed multiple crews building fire lines above the bridge that crosses the Little Wenatchee Rivers.  The fire stats, now listed at 55 acres, were updated on the Wildweb Fire Tracking Site.   Yesterday we saw numerous helicopter runs up the valley.  If anyone has additional information please email Admin@lakewenatcheeinfo.com
