There will be a celebration honoring the lives of Barb and Don Weeks at 2PM on Saturday, April 8th, at the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club. These involved, valued, hard-working members of our community passed within weeks of each other this Spring.

Don and Barbara Weeks were married for 44 years.  Don worked as a diesel mechanic for PUD and together they owned Cashmere Repair (motorcycles and snowmobiles) for several years. Don’s passion was building racing motorcycles. He was a volunteer firefighter for Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue for 25 years and also worked for the Alpine Water District for 16 years. Barbara was raised at Fish Lake and was a co-founder of the Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue Auxiliary. Don and Barbara both served on the board at Fishlake Trust.

Barb served on the board of the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club for several years. Don & Barb were the founders of the Dirty Face Dual Sport Ride held every year on Father’s Day weekend and both  were key volunteers for the rec club since the early 1990’s.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be made to the Lake Wenatchee Rec Club at P.O.
