All candidates for the one Chelan County Commissioner and two State House of Representatives seats up for election this year have agreed to participate in a candidate forum that will take place at 7PM this Wednesday evening, July 18th, at the Ponderosa Community Clubhouse just south of Plain. This field of candidates will be narrowed to two for each position in the primary election in August so come hear these people to help you decide who can better serve us. Participating candidates are:

Ann Diamond- Independent, Winthrop
Keith Goehner- Republican, Dryden
J.D. Greening- Republican, Waterville
C. Keiki Stacy Weigle- Democrat, Okanogan

Alan Fahnestock- No party preference, Winthrop
Valerie Sarratt- Democrat, Twisp

The evening will be moderated by Jim Passage of Plain. Coffee and water will be provided.
To get there: From Plain Grocery drive South on Camp 12 Road 1.5 miles then turn right on Colt Road which is one-way going downhill. At the bottom of the hill turn right on Stirrup Street and continue two blocks to Morgan Street. Turn left on Morgan and then left again on Cayuse Street, passing the fire station on your left. The clubhouse and parking lot are on your left at the end of Cayuse Street.
