We are saddened to pass along the news that long time North Shore Cabin co-owner Jeff Paton passed away this week as he prepared to go ice climbing in Banff. Jeff was a fixture on the east end of N Shore. Many of you likely heard his annual trumpet “concert” at midnight on New Years eve. Jeff was a suburb mountaineer and an active member for many years of the Chelan County Search and Rescue. Jeff had lived with a very serious heart condition for many years, knowing his time was short he packed a lot of life into every day. We will all miss him very much.
