Spring 2016 Firewise chipping opportunity

firewiselogoPartner with Cascadia Conservation District in a 50/50 cost share program!

You pile your hazardous fuel and document your time at $23.07 an hour and a Cascadia grant pays to chip it. The amount of the grant money available will be dependent on the number of acres “treated”. Please consider utilizing this free resource to dispose of your hazardous fuels and help pass the word to neighbors about this program. At this point organizers need to know how many people will be interested and the number of acres they will be treating. The experts are saying that we should expect another year of increased fire activity so let’s take advantage of having this time to prepare.
