Almost six square miles above Lake Wenatchee has been protected for conservation – all because of the support of Land Trust members and the Lake Wenatchee community. This is good news for our land and water, as well as hikers, bikers, skiers and equestrians. Through the generous support of more then 425 donors, we just reached our fundraising goal of $1 million in private donations. Western Rivers Conservancy now holds the land as interim owner, allowing for public use and enjoyment of the property while they identify a long-term steward of the land.
In the future, this land will be managed for long-term health rather than short-term profits. You can feel good knowing that you left a legacy for future generations at Nason Ridge.
A HUGE thank you to the Nason Ridge volunteer fundraising team: Ray Aspiri, co-chair Rob Shurtleff, co-chair Jeff Thiel, and hard working members, Mary Gallagher Tim Gallagher Bill Miller Eric Prestbo Chris Stahler
