Don’t trust the ice!
Typically, this time of year is great for ice fishing and recreation at Fish Lake.
The warm winter though has not seen the ice set thick enough to be uniformly safe. There have been several break throughs with individuals having to self rescue or be assisted. Luckily all have been ok.
Know your risks. Ice thickness is highly variable and just because you see someone else standing out there. Doesn’t mean every other place is solid.
