UPDATE: US2 through Tumwater Canyon was re-opened to traffic Sunday afternoon.
From Washington DOT: At 7AM today (Sunday) US 2 is closed from milepost 84.75 at Coles Corner to milepost 99 at Leavenworth through Tumwater Canyon due to avalanche danger. There is a detour available. No commercial vehicles over 26,000 gross vehicle weight permitted on detour.
