UPDATE:  9:05 AM:  Power has been restored in most areas. The county plows are out working and did make one pass along the South Shore. US2 still closed over Stevens Pass and through Tumwater Canyon to Leavenworth.
7:00 AM: The power went out in the entire Lake Wenatchee/Coles Corner/Plain area between 5AM and 6AM this morning. Current prediction is 5PM for restoration of power.  On the South Shore of Lake Wenatchee we’ve received 20.5 inches of new snow since last evening, 35.75 inches since Jan 3rd.  At 22 degrees this is nice dry, light snow coming down yet but the forecast shows snow continuing today with warming temps and possible freezing rain. This could be a real mess.
Per the Washington DOT website:   US 2 is closed from milepost 58 at Scenic, over Stevens Pass, to milepost 99 at the west end of Leavenworth due to heavy snow, poor visibility, and multiple snow slides. There is no detour available and currently no estimated time for reopening. It is snowing hard with reduced visibility.
Updates will be posted as available………..
